June 3rd - July 30th

The goal of “The Current” Shoreline Summer Internship is to give students the opportunity to explore ministry in a hands-on manner with experienced ministry leaders. This process will allow them to serve in various areas of church life, using their skills and gifts to accomplish ministerial objectives. Each participant will be given a unique “behind-the-scenes” view of ministry. They will be exposed to both the practical dynamics of service/servanthood and rigorous spiritual and character development under the tutelage of experienced pastors and church leaders. The ultimate goal being that every graduate will be all the more effective and better equipped to unveil God’s love to the world in any arena they are ultimately called to serve.

8 WEEKS
THE SUMMER OF A LIFETIME

Experiences will include, but are not limited to: One on one mentoring with Shoreline staff, participating in tasks surrounding ministry practices, attending staff and event planning meetings, assembling and managing small teams. Upon completion of the internship, the student will be able to: Articulate the purpose and process of ministry preparation. Grow personally in a relationship with God and lead from a place of deep personal worship. Demonstrate the ability to work within the confines of a church staff. Demonstrate leadership abilities within a group setting. Leave with DNA of a Shoreline Church contagious experience.
